The Minnesota Zoo is bringing back live music to Apple Valley after a 3-year hiatus. Beginning this Thursday, the Minnesota Zoo's new live music series, Wild Nights, will host nine music festivals scheduled for every other Thursday evening until Sept. 14. Wild Nights is somewhat of a rebirth of the zoo's 27-year-old Music in the Zoo series, which was called off in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The main difference is that the new music series will not host touring performers but will focus on local artists.
